MAGICAL MATTHEW
Magical
Matthew is a charming story--the first in the "Magical Series" by
Penelope Anne Cole. I found the story a delightful read and would highly
recommend it to elementary school children. Matthew is special and
unique because he has the power to fix things that are broken simply by
staring at them. The story deals with love and friendship, as well as
the disappointments we face while growing up. Matthew’s desire to help a
disabled friend was really touching. The lesson here is that not
everything that is broken can be fixed but as a group we can accomplish
anything.
